The iOptron Rumak-type 152mm Maksutov-Cassegrain is perfect for the serious amateur astronomer who wants apochromatic refractor-type performance at an affordable price. In fact, the multicoated optics provide almost similar results as a 5-inch apochromatic refractor -at a fraction of the cost. You will be amazed at the images you'll see with the MAK 152mm-surprisingly, an f12.5 that can view Jupiter's cloud bands and also M31. The precision design and engineering of the optics produces images you would not expect in such a light tube. The MAK 152mm from iOptron is the only MAK of its kind that comes with a dual speed focuser for fine-tuning your images. Also included is an attachable dew shield - rare for a MAK - for better performance in cold temperatures.
This CF350x spotting scope is exceptional for bird watching, astronomy, and for all types of terrestrial viewing. The lens system design contains a large air-spaced doublet for superior performance and its multi-coated optics offer high contrast levels with excellent resolution. Wildlife watchers will appreciate the exceptional low-light performance, while budding astronomers will appreciate the bright images and wide fields of view. The CF350x spotting scope includes a finderscope for easy location of distant objects, and a Padded Carry Bag with Shoulder Strap.
Digiscoping Adaptor is a nifty instrument that holds a digital camera to the eyepiece of a spotting scope, astronomical telescope or monocular to capture images viewed. Adapt to digitally capture images of terrestrial and celestial objects! Features a vertical and horizontal fine-tuning mechanism which allows precision alignment of camera lens and telescope eyepieces. Equipped with a 1/4x20 tripod socket to mount on photo/video tripod. Built of solid aluminum and extremely handy to capture the perfect image on your hunts or nature trips. Backed by Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The A70Lf is an Achromatic Refractor with 70mm (2.8”) of aperture. Its focal length is 900mm (3 ft.) with an f ratio of 12.9. Its light gathering is 100 times better than the human eye and has a maximum (realistic) power of 143X. It weighs about 4 lbs. This package combines sharp optics and a rock solid, light weight mount. It takes just seconds to place the telescope on the mount and you are ready for an evening of observing. The Vixen PORTA comes equipped with two fine adjustment handles for whole circle slow motion in both directions, very useful in searching and tracking celestial objects. In addition, these are great mounts for terrestrial viewing. Our gear drives make it a simple matter to precisely track a planet or a ship on the horizon by simply turning the elevation and or azimuth control handles. The “World-Standard” dovetail attachment system on PORTA was developed by Vixen. This allows the PORTA to accept various dovetail mounted optical tubes and binoculars.
